What we build, alter and finish in bungalows

Full bungalow renovation

We strip a bungalow back to its frame and rebuild the layout, so the plumbing, wiring and insulation are all brought up to current standards in one go.

Loft and roof conversions

We raise roofs, cut in dormers and form new rooms in the loft space, with the stairs, floor structure and fire separation worked out before we start.

Kitchens and utility rooms

We move services, fit units and lay floors for kitchens and utility rooms, coordinating with the electrician and plumber so the first fix is right.

Extensions and knock-throughs

We build single-storey extensions and remove load-bearing walls where a structural engineer has specified the steel, tying the new roof into the existing one.

Windows, doors and thermal upgrades

We replace windows, doors and roof insulation, and take out old storage heaters where a client is moving a bungalow onto a modern heating system.

We do not take on new-build houses or blocks of flats, because our trade is altering and finishing existing bungalows rather than starting from a bare plot.
Commercial shopfitting and office refits are outside what we do, as our insurance, method statements and experience are all set up for domestic work.
We do not carry out reactive call-outs for leaking roofs, blocked drains or emergency repairs, and we work to a booked programme instead.
Loft conversions and extensions where the structural design has not been signed off by an engineer are something we decline, as we will not build to an unverified drawing.
